Hi there, I’m Christine!

I am a traveling, Southern Illinois based wedding and portrait photographer who loves coffee (I consider myself an honorary Gilmore Girl and have watched the series more times than I should admit), Chick-fil-a sweet tea, horses, marine mammals (#1 bucket list item is to photograph Orcas in the wild), and traveling to new places!

I’ve always had a love and passion for creating things since I was little. From building construction paper houses for my beanie babies, to learning how to weld and sculpt metal in college. My interest in photography began at a young age, documenting all of my family functions and various yearly events with my HP point and shoot digital camera (anyone else remember those?!). As I progressed into high school, I had an opportunity to be part of my yearbook staff and that is where I started to pursue my passions of graphic design and photography together.

In 2010 I moved from Orlando, Florida to Jacksonville, Florida where I pursued and obtained my BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design and Digital Media from The University of North Florida. While going through school I had the opportunity to be a second shooter for a wedding photographer friend of mine, and that is where I found a love for photographing weddings! After marrying my husband, best friend, and primary second shooter, John Austin (yes I do actually call him by his full name haha), I am now loving this new chapter of life as a full time photographer, wife, and momma to our fur baby Savannah Pups.

We’ve already been on a wild journey together and are excited for our new adventure, as we have recently moved to our new based location of Southern Illinois! In this new season, I am still accepting a limited number of weddings in Northeast Florida.
