The Wedding Experience
My Approach
Each of our couples’ story is different – who they are, what they like and how they became each others’ best friends. No two couples are the same and neither is your photo experience!
This is why I love to dive straight in to getting to know YOU and your fiance. Rather than just say how much coverage you need and when to show up, I want your experience working with me to be more personal than that. Your wedding photos are something you will look back on years from now, and remember all those special moments of the day. I also want your memories of working with me to be “I love that we had another friend there to witness and celebrate with us!”
I desire for more than just a transactional interaction with our couples – my hope is that after your wedding, you start your married life off with another set of friends!
Taking the time to hear your story gives me a glimpse into how we can reflect that into your images. Do you both love exploring new places? That’s fantastic! We can plan for your engagement session to be somewhere on your bucket list! Are you beer or specialty drink lovers? Let’s bring some brews along and you can cheers for some photos. Would you like to have photos taken at multiple locations for epic photos just the two of you? We can definitely plan that out! I meticulously work out a timeline to cover each aspect of the wedding day so we maximize your photography coverage.
I want you to have every aspect of your wedding day captured, so this is why our main Wedding Collection includes 10 hours of coverage. My desire for you both is to be able to relax and enjoy your day, without any stress of rushing or worries something may not be covered.
The Process
Step 1: Let’s Connect!
I’d love to hear from you – including any details of your upcoming wedding. (the more the better!)
Step 2: Let’s Schedule A Meeting
I like to personally meet with each of our potential couples in person (over coffee) or via video chat. Connecting personally is such a big part in selecting your wedding photographer. Meeting allows us a chance to get to know each other more and make sure that we are a great fit!
Step 3: Make It Official
After having an opportunity to chat and answer any questions you may have, if you find that we are a great fit, then let’s make it official. I will send over a wedding photography contract and a retainer invoice your way.
Step 4: Do a Happy Dance & Start Planning Your Engagement Session
Once everything is official, I love to dive into planning your engagement session. I have a resource list of location ideas as a starting point, but we can chat about the ideas you have and create a fun plan. (this also includes ideas on outfits!) You’ll receive your engagement gallery within 2 weeks of your session (and a sneak peek within 48 hours too!)
Step 5: Enjoy your engagement photos and prep for your big day
The time leading up to your wedding day will include a lot of prep and planning, and I’m here for you during this time! We will be able to finalize your wedding timeline, chat about any other ideas you might have, and I’ll send you a final wedding day questionnaire. From there you and your fiance can rest knowing that everything is handled and we are going to capture some EPIC photos on your wedding day!
Once meeting Christine and John, my wife and I knew we found the photographer we wanted for our wedding. After working with them for about a year between our engagement shoot and wedding, we can truly call them great friends.
